Application

The OPW 295-SA is the standard overwing fueling nozzle for general aviation aircraft. The spout is sized to fit aircraft filler necks and includes a static bonding wire connection.

How It Works

Dual stainless steel floats inside the tank rise and fall with fuel level, connected via cable to the clock-style dial. The dial reads in feet and inches for precise level indication.

Purpose

Allows the tank to breathe during filling and dispensing operations while minimizing vapor emissions. Opens under slight pressure (during filling) or vacuum (during dispensing).

How It Works

Monitors the space between the inner and outer tank walls. A float-activated switch triggers an alarm if liquid is detected in the interstitial space, indicating a leak in either wall.

How It Works

The high level alarm activates at approximately 90% tank capacity during fuel delivery, providing an audible alert to the delivery driver before the mechanical overfill prevention valve engages.

How It Works
