Duplex pumping systems are engineered
packaged assemblies for transferring,
boosting, and straining low viscosity (38
to 500 ssu) oils such as No. 2 fuel oil,
diesel oil, and No. 4 fuel oil (where
heating is not required).
Gauge: Pressure and vacuum gauges
mounted with shut off ball valve. Gauge
limits 0 - 120 PSIG, with a 2 1/2" dial,
liquid filled, stainless steel case, is
oil filled, and has brass movement.
Ball Valves: Carbon steel ball
valves, full port threaded steel body with
stainless steel ball and Teflon seals.
Pressure Relief Valves: Type R,
brass, disc type external relief valves,
with a 25 to 100 PSI adjustable pressure
range. Relief valves will be factory set
at 75 PSI.
Check Valves: Class 150, Brass,
swing type, check valve.
Piping: Scheduled 40 cast iron
black piping, 1" NPT with threaded
connections. Braided flexible oil
compatible clear piping.
Options
Flow Switch: Flow switch at
discharge to activate secondary pump.
Strainer: Hayward Model 50 Cast
Iron duplex oil strainer per ASTM A-126
Class 30, 1" NPT. Continuous flow – no
shutdown for basket cleaning. Quick open
cover requires no tools. Large capacity
baskets, threaded drain, Perforated 60
mesh stainless steel basket, pressure
differential gauge and switch connections.
