[A] Primary and Secondary Pipe

Primary Pipe: Flexible pipe run in continuous lengths between in-line sumps and storage tanks.

Secondary Pipe: Corrugated flex pipe run in continuous lengths between tank sumps, in-line sumps, and dispenser sumps to provide secondary containment of primary pipe. Black in color, this secondary pipe contains UV stabilizers to protect against the sun's harmful rays.

[B] Primary Adaptor

Adaptor used to transition primary coupling to NPT opening on pump, ball valve or breakaway.

[C] Primary Coupling and Washer

Coupling installed on each end of the flexible primary pipe by a certified contractor using the Total Containment Coupling Machine.

[D] Primary Branch Fittings

Fittings used in sumps. The female NPT opening on a "tee" accepts a steel riser pipe or flex connector which threads into the base of the shear valve. The male NPT opening on the "Y" allows it to submersible pumps and ball valves.

[E] Primary 90 degree Fitting

Fitting used in termination dispenser sumps. The female NPT opening accepts a steel riser pipe or flex connector which threads into the base of the shear valve.

[F] Bulkhead Fittings and Test Equipment

Bulkhead Fittings: Used to make liquid-resistant pipe penetrations in tank sumps, in-line sumps, or dispenser sumps and pans. They require a quick and easy one-hole installation procedure. Fittings include: air stem for testing, stainless steel clamps, and pipe stiffeners, where applicable.
Test Donuts: Used with bulkhead fittings to allow primary and secondary pipe to be tested simultaneously.
Test Boot: Used to seal and integrity test the interstitial space of Marinaflex pipe. Includes 300 series stainless steel clamps.
Nylon Test Tube Kit: Used to air test the interstitial space of Marinaflex pipe in tank sump and termination sump. Includes 36" piece of 10mm tubing, 1/4" brass valve, nylon elbow and clamps.
Nylon Flow Tube Kit: Used between test boots in intermediate sump to interconnect interstitial space. Includes 13" piece of 10mm tubing, two (2) nylon elbow and clamps.

[G] Tank Sumps and Accessories

Patented tank sumps are offered in both polyethylene and fiberglass models, in a wide variety of styles, shapes and sizes. The corrugated, height-adjustable riser adds structural integrity and allows for minimum/maximum burial depths. In-Line Sumps are mounted on shore and contain a recommended ball valve, breakaway valve and Solenoid valve and/or leak detection monitor. In-Line-Pans are mounted on the dock and have breakaway valves, adaptors and/or leak detection monitors.

[H] In-Line Breakaway/Ball Valves/Solenoid or Leak Detection

Not supplied, but recommended by Total Containment. Refer to local codes and regulation. Total Containment recommends breakaways at every dock joint.
